Ohio’s list of school district income taxes in effect for 2024 was released Dec. 15 by the state taxation department.
Two new taxes were introduced for 2024: Blanchester Local School District, in Clinton, Brown, Clermont, and Warren Counties, has a tax rate of 1%. Marion Local School District, in Mercer, Auglaize, and Drake Counties, has a tax rate of 0.5%. Both of the new taxes have earned income-only tax bases, the department said in its list of school district tax rates.
