Ohio Releases 2026 School District Tax Rates

Ohio school district taxes in effect as of Jan. 1, 2026, include six new taxes and three with rate changes, while two will expire, the state taxation department said Dec. 18.

New taxes in the department’s list include:

  • Clinton-Massie Local School District, in Clinton and Warren Counties, with a rate of 1%.
  • Findlay City School District, in Hancock County, with a rate of 1%.
  • Kings LSD, in Warren County, with a rate of 1%.
  • Tiffin CSD, in Seneca County, with a rate of 0.75%. 
  • Trimble LSD, in Athens and Morgan Counties, with a rate of 1%.
