Ohio Unemployment Rates Rising for Experienced Employers in 2024

Ohio unemployment tax rates will increase for experienced employers in 2024, according to an update on the Department of Job and Family Services website.

Rates for experienced employers will range from 0.9% to 7.9% for positive-rated employers and from 8% to 10.6% for negative-rated employers, according to Ohio’s 2024 rate table. The rates for experienced employers include a 0.5% mutualized rate.

The tax rate for delinquent employers will be 13.3%, up from 12.9% in 2023, according to the website.
