Oklahoma released its 2026 unemployment insurance information on the Employment Security Commission website.
Unemployment insurance tax rates for experienced employers in 2026 range from 0.2% to 5.8%, according to the commission. This is a decrease from the current 2025 rates ranging from 0.3% to 9.2%.
The rate for new employers in 2026 is 1.5%, unchanged from 2025, according to the commission.
The unemployment-taxable wage base for 2026 is $25,000, down from $28,200 for 2025, according to the commission.
The maximum benefit amount for 2026 is $649 per week, or $10,384 per year, according to the commission.
