Oklahoma released its unemployment insurance tax rates and wage base for 2024 on the Employment Security Commission’s website.
Tax rates for experienced employers range from 0.3% to 9.2%, according to the state’s unemployment insurance table. The tax rate for new employers is 1.5%.
The unemployment-taxable wage base for 2024 is $27,000, up from $25,700 in 2023, according to the table.
The maximum weekly benefit amount for 2024 is $519, and the maximum benefit amount for the year is $8,304, or 16 times the maximum weekly benefit amount, according to the table.
