Oklahoma’s unemployment-taxable wage base and unemployment tax rates are to increase for 2021, a spokeswoman for the state Employment Security Commission said Sept. 28.
Effective Jan. 1, 2021, the wage base is to be $24,000 for 2021, up from $18,700 in 2020, the spokeswoman told Bloomberg Tax in an email.
For 2021, Conditional Factor D is to be in effect and tax rates for experienced employers are to range from 0.3% to 7.5%. For 2020, tax rates are unaffected by a conditional factor and range from 0.1% to 5.5%.
