Oregon’s three minimum wage rates will rise by 50 cents on July 1, according to an update on the Bureau of Labor and Industries website.
The state has three separate minimum wage rates, which each apply to different jurisdictions. The standard minimum wage will rise to $15.55 from $15.05, the Portland metro area minimum wage will rise to $16.80 from $16.30, and the minimum wage for nonurban areas will rise to $14.55 from $14.05, according to the website.
