Oregon released its 2026 family-leave and unemployment insurance tax rates and wage base information on the Employment Department’s website.
Unemployment insurance tax rates for experienced employers will continue to be determined using Schedule 3 for 2026 and range from 0.9% to 5.4%, according to an update on the website. The new employer tax rate will be 2.4%, unchanged from 2025.
Unemployment insurance tax rates include a 0.135% payroll tax offset for each of the calendar quarters in 2026, according to the website. The payroll tax offset is used to fund various state programs.
