A final rule to update Pennsylvania white-collar overtime exemptions to $875 from the $684 federal threshold was approved Jan. 31 by a state commission.
The panel’s approval, 3 to 2, was required before the final rule could take effect. The rule is to take effect after it is published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin after a 30-day review by the state attorney general.
