A resolution that could cancel an approved increase to Pennsylvania’s white-collar salary threshold was adopted May 27 by the state Senate and now is to be sent to Gov. Tom Wolf (D) to consider.
If Wolf vetoes the resolution, as he is likely to do, the updated white-collar salary threshold could take effect, after review by state Attorney General Josh Shapiro (D) and publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. However, the legislature could override such a veto with a two-thirds majority vote in both legislative chambers.
