Pennsylvania Unemployment Tax Rates Unchanged for 2026

Pennsylvania’s unemployment insurance tax rates will remain unchanged for 2026, according to the Labor and Industry Department’s contribution rate table.

The total tax rates for nondelinquent experienced employers will range from 1.419% to 10.3734%, including a 9.2% surcharge adjustment and 0.6% additional contributions tax, according to the table. The tax rate for new employers will be 3.822% for nonconstruction employers and 10.5924% for construction employers.

The total tax rates for delinquent employers will range from 4.695% to 14.4684%, according to the table.

Pennsylvania has a static $10,000 unemployment-taxable wage base.
