Workers in the Philippines’ National Capital Region will get a 50-peso increase in their daily minimum wage starting July 18, the labor department says in a statement.
- Daily minimum wage will rise to 695 pesos from 645 pesos for the non-agriculture sector, agency says
- It goes up to 658 pesos from 608 pesos for the agriculture sector, service and retail establishments employing 15 or less workers, and manufacturing establishments regularly employing less than 10 workers
