Prince George’s County, Maryland, will increase its hourly livable wage rate to $17.70 from $17.10, according to an update from the county’s Wage Determination Board.
The rate increase will be effective from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, according to the board’s website.
The livable wage applies to certain county contractors, but exemptions exist for nonprofits and employees who perform who perform measurable work on county contracts, under the county’s code of ordinances.
