Rates Fall for Valuing Personal Use of Employer Aircraft

The terminal charge portion of the Standard Industry Fare Level formula fell to $42.46 for the second half of 2019, compared with $43.53 for the first half of 2019, the Transportation Department said Aug. 12.

For the six-month period starting July 1, the rate for the first 500 miles of travel is 23.22 cents a mile, down from 23.81 cents a mile. The rate for miles 501 to 1,500 is 17.71 cents a mile, down from 18.16 cents a mile. The rate for distances of more than 1,500 miles is 17.02 cents a mile, down from 17.45 cents a mile. ...
