The hourly minimum wage for Redwood City, California, will rise to $18.65 from $18.20 effective Jan. 1, 2026, according to an update on the city’s website.
The city released a minimum wage notice and letter for businesses announcing the increase on its website. The notice and letter for businesses are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese.
Redwood City’s minimum wage adjustment represents a 2.5% increase, according to the letter.
