The Rhode Island Division of Taxation Dec. 13 announced that it is finalizing the implementation of the updated Taxpayer Portal for corporate income, individual income, sales and use, property, excise, trust income, and estate tax purposes. Effective Jan. 4, 2022, the portal will be the sole online payment method and all online payments should be made through the portal. The sites through which taxpayers previously accessed the payment system will no longer be available.
