The hourly minimum wage in Richmond, California, will rise to $17.20 from $16.17 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to the city’s website.
Richmond updated its official notice to reflect the minimum wage in effect for 2024. Employers must display the notice in an area where employees can easily read it.
The minimum wage applies to employees who work more than two hours in the city in a week, according to the notice.
