The hourly minimum wage in Rockland, Maine, will rise to $16 from $15.50 for calendar year 2026, according to an Oct. 29 news release.
The tipped minimum wage for service employees will rise to $8 from $7.75 for 2026, according to the news release. Service employees are those who regularly receive more than $191 a month in tips in 2026, according to the news release.
Rockland’s minimum wage ordinance increases the rates annually on Jan. 1.
Maine’s statewide minimum wage will increase to $15.10 from $14.65 for 2026.
