The standard monthly minimum wage for employees in Romania is to increase Dec. 1 to 2,080 lei (U.S. $503.57), up from the current amount of 1,900 lei (U.S. $459.99), the Romanian government said in a decision (Romanian) that was approved Nov. 9 as part of an emergency ordinance.
