San Diego, California, Minimum Wage Increasing to $17.25 for 2025

The hourly minimum wage in San Diego, California, will rise to $17.25 from $16.85 effective Jan. 1, 2025, according to the city’s Office of Labor Standards and Enforcement.

The minimum wage will increase before 2025 if California’s Proposition 32 is passed on Nov. 5, the city said on its website. Proposition 32 would automatically raise California’s minimum wage to $17 for the remainder of 2024 and to $18 for 2025.
