San Diego Minimum Wage to Rise in 2023 to $16.30, Not $16.25

The hourly minimum wage in San Diego, California, will rise to $16.30 from $15 effective Jan. 1, 2023, according to a Sept. 29 update on the city’s website.

The updates corrects a Sept. 21 announcement that said the city’s hourly minimum wage would rise to $16.25 in 2023.

San Diego updated its minimum wage poster to reflect the minimum wage increase to $16.30. The poster is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
