The hourly minimum wage in San Diego, California, will rise to $16.25 from $15 effective Jan. 1, 2023, according to a Sept. 21 update on the city’s website.
San Diego updated its minimum wage poster to reflect the minimum wage increase. The poster is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
The minimum wage applies to employees who work in San Diego for at least two hours in one or more weeks of the calendar year, under the city’s minimum wage code.
