San Francisco Minimum Wage Rising to $16.99 Starting July 1

San Francisco’s hourly minimum wage will rise to $16.99 from $16 effective July 1, according to the city’s Office of Labor Standards Enforcement website on March 11.

The minimum wage rate applies to participants in California’s Welfare-to-Work Program and employees working at least two hours in the city per week, according to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 12R.3.

San Francisco will also increase the hourly minimum wage for government-supported employees to $15.03 from $14.44 effective July 1.
