The hourly minimum wage in San Francisco will rise to $18.07 from $16.99 effective July 1, according to the city’s minimum wage webpage.
The minimum wage applies to employees who work at least two hours in the city in a calendar week, under San Francisco’s administrative code.
The city has a separate minimum wage for “government supported employees,” which will rise to $15.98 from $15.03. The lower minimum wage applies for employees under age 18 participating in a government-subsidized training or apprenticeship program, as well as employees over age 55 working for a government-subsidized nonprofit providing services to ...
