The hourly minimum wage in San Jose, California, will rise to $17.55 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to an October update on the city’s website.
San Jose previously announced that its 2024 minimum wage would be $17.60.
The city has not yet updated its minimum wage poster for 2024.
San Jose’s minimum wage applies to employees who work at least two hours in the city in a calendar week, under the city’s minimum wage code.
