The hourly minimum wage in San Jose, California, will rise to $17.60 from $17 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to a Sept. 15 update on the city’s website.
San Jose has not yet updated its minimum wage poster to reflect the increase.
The city’s minimum wage applies to employees who work at least two hours in the city in a calendar week, under San Jose’s minimum wage code.
