Santa Fe’s 2022 living wage rate was posted to the city’s Office of Economic Development website Jan. 14.
Effective March 1, the hourly living wage rate will increase to $12.95 from $12.32, according to the website.
The living wage requirement applies to all full-time permanent city workers, businesses required to have a business license or registration from the city, and nonprofits. It also applies to all contractors and subcontractors of service contracts worth at least $30,000, excluding contracts for the purchase of goods, the city’s living wage ordinance states.
