Santa Monica, California, Raising Minimum Wage to $17.28 in July

The hourly minimum wage in Santa Monica, California, will rise to $17.28 from $16.90 effective July 1, according to an update on the city’s website.

The city has yet to update its minimum wages notice in light of the increase.

The minimum wage applies to employees who work at least two hours in the city in a week, under Santa Monica’s minimum wage ordinance.
