Saskatchewan to Increase Minimum Wage Oct. 1, 2025

July 14, 2025, 5:40 PM UTC

Saskatchewan’s hourly minimum wage will increase Oct. 1 and will resume being indexed for inflation each year, the Canadian province’s government said July 10.

The hourly minimum wage will increase to C$15.35 (US$11.22), up from C$15, the government said in a news release.

The province’s minimum wage was indexed for inflation prior to 2022. The government then committed to raising the minimum wage to C$15 and abandoned the formula in favor of annual increases of at least C$1 through 2024.
