The hourly minimum wage in SeaTac, Washington, will increase to $19.71 from $19.06 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to an Oct. 4 announcement from the city.
The minimum wage applies to nonmanagerial, nonsupervisory workers employed by certain employers in the hospitality and transportation industries, under the city’s minimum wage code. Tips and gratuities may not be credited against an employer’s minimum wage obligations.
Washington recently announced that its statewide minimum wage would increase to $16.28 from $15.74 in 2024.
