The hourly minimum wage in Seattle, Washington, will increase to $18.69 for large employers and to $16.50 for certain small employers effective Jan. 1, 2023, according to an Oct. 4 press release from the city’s office of labor standards.
Large employers are employers with at least 501 employees, and small employers are employers with 500 or fewer employees.
