Singapore Increases Food Service Workers’ Minimum Wages

Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower will increase minimum wages for food service workers each July 1 from 2026 to 2028, it said March 16 in accepting the recommendations of the industry’s representative body.

Minimum wages in Category A, for quick service establishments, will range from S$2,220 (US$1,740.58) to S$2,470 per month from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, the ministry said in a news release. Minimum wages in Category B, for full-service establishments, caterers, and central kitchens, will range from S$2,320 to S$2,875 per month, the ministry said.
