Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower will increase minimum wages for in-house security officers Jan. 1 each year from 2026 through 2028 after accepting the recommendations of the industry’s representative body, it said Oct. 30.
The security industry is one of those covered by Singapore’s Progressive Wage Model and has had separate minimum wages for in-house and outsourced security workers since Jan. 1, 2024. In 2026, monthly minimum wages for in-house security officers will range from S$2,475 (US$1,903.09) to S$2,905, up from S$2,315 to S$2,745, the ministry said in a news release.
