Slovenian Lawmakers Back Mandatory Christmas Bonus for Employees

Slovenian parliament approves mandatory tax-free Christmas bonus, which will amount to 50% of minimum wage or €639 for 2025.

  • Employers will have to pay the bonus by Dec. 18
  • Companies with liquidity problems will be able to postpone the payment of the bonus to end of March 2026
