Spain’s Government Will Increase Minimum Wage by Another 5%

Spain will raise the mandatory monthly minimum monthly wage to €1,134 ($1,244), taking total increases since Pedro Sanchez became prime minister five-and-a-half years ago to more than 50%.

The gross minimum monthly salary for 2024 will be raised by 5% from the previous €1,260 the previous year, the government said Friday. Or €1,080 when the salary is split into 12 monthly payments and two bonuses.
