About 241.2 million electronically filed Forms W-2, Wage and Tax Statement, have been processed in the 2019 filing season, a spokesman for the Social Security Agency said April 24.
The number of 2018 Forms W-2 processed exceeds the number processed around the same time last year. About 241.2 million forms were processed by April 4, 2019, the spokesman told Bloomberg Tax in an email. About 235.5 million 2017 forms were processed by April 26, 2018.
