Switzerland Lower House Passes Bills to Ratify DTA, Protocol With Ethiopia, Protocol to 2006 DTA With Armenia

The Swiss lower house of parliament (Standerat) Sept. 12 passed Bills Nos. 22.028, and 22.033, to ratify the: 1) DTA and protocol with Ethiopia, signed July 29, 2021; and 2) protocol to the 2006 DTA with Armenia, signed Nov. 12, 2021. The DTA and protocols incorporate the recommendations of the OECD base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) project. [Switzerland, Parliament, 09/12/22]
