Taiwan adjusted its occupational accident insurance premiums, according to a notice (Chinese) from the labor ministry. Total occupational accident insurance premiums are determined by the On and Off Duty Accident Premiums and the Business Category Accident Premiums.
Effective Jan. 1, 2022, the Business Category Accident Premium rate has been adjusted to a range of 0.04% to 0.86% of each employee’s monthly salary, from a previous range of 0.04% to 0.89%. The On and Off Duty Accident Premium is to remain the same at 0.07% of each employee’s monthly salary.
Occupational accident insurance premiums are usually adjusted every three years.
