Taiwan to Lift Monthly Minimum Wage Above NT$30,000 in 2027: EDN

Taiwan pledges to raise its monthly minimum wage to above NT$30,000 next year, from the current NT$29,500, Taipei-based Economic Daily News reports, citing Cho Jung-tai’s remarks at an event.

  • Minimum wage has been raised for ten consecutive years, with monthly pay increasing from NT$20,008 in 2016 to NT$29,500 this year
