The Thai Ministry of Finance Jan. 17 posted online an announcement of deadline extensions to electronically file tax returns and various tax forms, between Feb. 1, 2024, and Jan. 31, 2027. The announcement includes: 1) extended deadlines of April 8 and Oct. 8 for specified personal income tax forms; 2) an eight-day extension for specified forms for corporate income tax, monthly withholding tax, VAT, and specific business taxes; 3) extended deadlines of March 8 and Feb. 8 for annual withholding tax forms; and 4) clarification that the extensions don’t apply to paper filings.
