The UK Proposes Tax Incentives to Spur Employer Health Services

The UK Treasury and tax office are proposing to expand tax benefits for employer-provided occupational health plans to get more people back to work.

The government said in a consultation document issued Tuesday that it is looking to expand the existing Benefit In Kind exemption to lower business costs of providing health screenings and medical check-ups for employees, and specific treatments to reduce workplace absence.
