Foreign per diem rates for U.S. business travel to 35 cities and other jurisdictions, including Belo Horizonte, Johannesburg, and Tokyo, were updated by the U.S. State Department and take effect March 1, 2020.
Adjustments effective March 1 also are applicable to foreign per diem rates for U.S. business travel to some other cities and locations in Belize, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Eritrea, Eswatini, Israel, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Namibia, South Africa, and Tonga, the department said in its updated list of foreign per diem rates.
