Uruguay to Raise Minimum Wage 7.5% by Mid-2026: Labor Ministry

Uruguay will increase the minimum wage in two stages to 25,383 pesos ($646) per month by next July, the Labor Ministry said in a statement.

  • The first increase will raise the minimum wage to 24,572 pesos starting Jan. 1 from the current level of 23,604 pesos
