US Updates Foreign Per Diem Rates, Effective Dec. 1, 2024

Foreign per diem rates for 140 locations, including Munich, São Paulo, and Tokyo, were updated by the US State Department and took effect Dec. 1.

Updates apply to cities and other areas in Albania, Aruba, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Germany, Ghana, Honduras, Hungary, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Poland, South Korea, Sweden, Uruguay, and Vietnam, the department said in its updated list of foreign per diem rates.

An update also applies to the Netherlands’ Caribbean special municipality of Bonaire, the department said.
