Foreign per diem rates for more than 170 locations, including Beijing, Bogota, and Sydney, were updated by the US State Department and take effect May 1.
Updates apply to cities and other locations in Australia, Bangladesh, Belize, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Cyprus, Eswatini, Iceland, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kiribati, Latvia, Lesotho, Libya, Liechtenstein, Mexico, Micronesia, Mongolia, Namibia, Palau, Paraguay, Republic of the Congo, São Tomé and Príncipe, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Syria, Tonga, Tunisia, and Vietnam, according to the department’s updated list.
