Vermont’s hourly state minimum wage is expected to rise to $13.67 from $13.18, and the hourly tipped minimum wage is expected to rise to $6.84 from $6.59 effective Jan. 1, 2024, according to Bloomberg Tax calculations.
The calculations were based on Vermont statutes and federal Bureau of Labor Statistics data released Sept. 13.
State law allows employers to pay the tipped minimum wage to employees who customarily and regularly receive more than $120 a month in tips.
