The hourly minimum wage in Vermont will rise to $14.01 from $13.67 effective Jan. 1, 2025, according to an Oct. 10 press release.
The minimum cash wage for tipped employees will rise to $7.01 from $6.84, according to the press release. Tipped employees include employees of hotels, motels, tourist places, or restaurants who customarily and regularly receive more than $120 in tips per month, under state law.
