Hours-worked and employment-relationship administrative policies were adopted by Washington’s Department of Labor and Industries on July 19, the department said in a news release.
The final policies, which interpret state rules and regulations, were subject to public feedback and stakeholder review before they were adopted, the department said.
Guidance about each policy is contained in the new employment-relationship policy’s cover sheet and in the updated hours-worked policy’s cover sheet, which appear on the department’s public website.
