Washington announced its unemployment insurance tax rate information in a chart issued by the state’s employment security department.
Tax rates for nondelinquent experienced employers in 2023 range from 0.27% to 6.02%, according to the chart. The rates include an 0.02% administrative fund tax for nondelinquent employers assigned to Rate Class 40 and a 0.03% administrative fund tax for all other nondelinquent employers. The graduated social cost rate for nondelinquent employers in 2023 range from 0.24% to 0.72%.
