Washington’s Department of Labor and Industries is to host feedback sessions in November on revisions to pre-draft rulemaking to update rules regarding executive, administrative, and professional exemptions from the state’s minimum-wage law, the department said Nov. 8 in an email.

As a result, some employers may have to provide overtime, minimum wage, and paid sick leave to workers who previously were considered exempt.
